The tradition of making lacquer from the sap or trees and from insects goes back many centuries, for creating prized handcrafts that have exceptional glossy luster and rich depth of color. This range of entirely hand-made wallpapers are created using natural lacquer, combining colored paper surfaces with lacquer that is applied in layers by hand and brush. These papers are luxuriously rich with texture, color and shine for walls, ceilings and other decorative applications. Their artisanal, one-of-a-kind decorative quality is enhanced with practical aspects of being washable, moisture-proof and anti-mold. Each lacquer wallpaper is offered in 3 meter panel lengths.

How many rolls do I need for one wall?
For a 4 × 2.6 m wall you need approximately 3 rolls (width 0.53 m). Use the consumption calculator for an exact calculation including 10% reserve.
Can the wallpaper be washed?
Yes, non-woven wallpapers are washable with a damp cloth. They are lightfast and resistant to normal wear and tear.
What paste do I need?
Special non-woven paste from our Adhesives & Accessories section. Approximately 250 g per roll.
What if the wallpaper doesn't suit me?
Return an unopened wallpaper within 30 days. We recommend ordering a free sample first.
